How LA does Patios

Hollywood, Venice, Downtown, the Hills, Bel-Air, Santa Monica, Malibu… Are we still in LA? Take a mini vacy to the best patio neighborhoods in this massive city.
When your in LA its almost always patio season. 75 and sunny all year sounds like something I could get used to. Plus they’ve got the beach, the city, mountains, and everything in between. The traffic might be bad but if the weather is that great then I think I could get used to it. If you have never been to LA then there is a lot to cover because the place ain’t small. A car, preferably with no top, is needed to explore the many destinations this city has to offer. Rest assured that we’ll take you through the hot spots of must see patio approved places. We’ve got the eye to find you celeb approved spots (jk) this summer.

Venice: if the patio doesn’t have an ocean view is it even a patio?

Beaches, rooftops, or lounging on the boardwalk – take your pick. Venice is the most laidback spot amidst the dozens of Los Angeles beaches and towns. Surf boards, skateboards, hula hoops, and band tees are plentiful in this little beach town just south of Santa Monica. Grab a bike and cruise down the street until you stumble upon a patio of your style. We personally like to take the rooftop route and sip mojitos under the sun. Whatever you choose, the ocean has got to be visible or it does’t count.

Downtown: Wine and cheese please

You can’t spell patio without wine… wait. That makes more sense if you turn off work brain and turn on Summer brain. We stand behind the fact that wine is essential to patio season and if you disagree then you can get out. Kidding. Add a cheese board and some charcuterie and cheers your basic B self because your killing it. Downtown is the place to put on that red dress and get fancy on the patio, rooftop, or balcony of your choosing.

6 Miles and 45 minutes from the beach but The views outweigh the traffic

We’re not from LA so we might not have the authority to complain about this but, the traffic is pretty terrible. We’ll say it once and won’t say it again. If your traveling from the beach to the heart of the city then you may want to buffer yourself a few hours. On top of that, take enough days to enjoy each neighborhood because you’ll be shocked at how big they really are.

Downtown is time to glam it up. Sit on that patio, enjoy the palm trees, and people watch all the gorgeous LA bodies. Since you probably don’t live here feel free to order that cheese board and wear a loose fitting shirt.

The sky is more blue, in malibu

Miley Cyrus was not kidding, the skies in Malibu are just as blue as the ocean. If your heading back to the beach from Downtown then you must take the 101 through the mountains and stop at all the picturesque outlooks. In an hour and a half you can get a glimpse of the city, dessert, and beach. Then once you reach the Pacific Coast Highway, take your pick from the entire coast line of beaches. Post up near the spot with the most celebrity mansions, bring some binoculars, and maybe you can see The Beibs tanning at the pool. If you seeking some rocky ocean views like these, we got the inside scoop on the local spot – check out El Matador State Beach.

Beach SZN all. year. long…

Where the Celebs at? I only see Patios

If its warm enough for the beach, its patio season.
